When looking at a project, we respect that all the components must work hand in hand to create a successful outcome. While quality, timing and cost are essential factors in every step of the way, it is the specific challenges that arise in each project that make the end result exciting and unique. Our first step is to get to know our clients through our onboarding process. Our services include schematic (or predesign), design development (concept boards), 3-D sketches, furniture and fixture selection, space planning - construction documents (we refer an architect as needed), and selection and purchase of furniture, fixtures, finishes and equipment as needed. We pride ourselves in our commitment to every stage of the process and also offer project management to our roster of services.

We bring to the table an understanding of current trends in office, senior and healthcare design. Starting with extensive research about the site and the field specialty, our preprogramming involves understanding our clients and their needs first and bringing best practices and on point design to their project. We work with architects, developers, and facility managers from everything from new builds to rehabs and remodeling. Our eyes are on the client’s bottom line as well as looking out for the occupant’s health and wellbeing.
kitchen and baths
We are a full service one-stop kitchen and bath resource. We collaborate with you on your project goals, analyze how these hard working spaces can be maximized and ensure that style, placement, orientation, and function are optimally utilized. We offer custom and commercially manufactured cabinets in traditional and cutting edge materials and finishes. Installation services are provided locally and regionally upon request.

Custom Millwork
We start by envisioning your project as 3D preliminary drawings and then provide fabricators with plans and elevations. Using our own premier craftsmen, we can add timeless millwork to enhance the details of your space. Projects completed in the past include: bookcases, window seats and base and ceiling mouldings.
custom Furniture Design
A team of talented furniture and cabinet makers, upholsterers and other artisans are available to fabricate heritage farm tables, conference and dining furniture and even specialty desks for reception areas and film editing suites.
dIY services
DIY Design Bootcamp
Working at either our office or your location, in a two or three hour session, we can address your design, color or space planning needs. This focused and intensive session can be used as an initial consultation, a look at a potential project when the scope of work is unclear, or to address specific issues. You can also use this time to assess potential real estate options before you buy or rent, to make sure the space can be modified to fit your needs.
COLOR CONSULTATION
Context offers paint and finish consultations for interior and exterior projects. Meeting in person or remotely, we can work together informally on a palette, or more in depth with options from several color brands. Our strong background in design and color, takes the guess work out of this process – especially where light, reflectivity and surface often come into play. Customization of colors is often the end result from these focused explorations. Sample colors and sample boards will be provided.
Aging-In-Place Consultation
Context is a Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist as designated by ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), NAHB (National Association of Home Buyers) and AARP. Modifying built spaces for accessibility does not mean compromising style or functionality. With an array of new universal design products on the market and as a CAPS consultant, we can suggest aesthetically pleasing and functional solutions during the design process or work as consultants to assess a home or workplace.
